Prof. Christa Binswanger as Expert at Symposium against Sexual Harassment and Violence in Higher Education

Prof. Dr. Christa Binswanger participated in the international symposium Unheard, Unseen, and Unspoken: Setting a Research Agenda for Sexual Harassment and Violence in Higher Education, alongside other experts. The symposium took place in Hanover from September 17 to 19, 2025.

The symposium was organized by Dr. Heike Pantelmann, Dr. Sarah Bellows-Blakely, and Dr. Sabina García Peter (Freie Universität Berlin) and Prof. Dr. Ebere Adimora (University of Nigeria, Nsukka). It was part of the theme week The (De)tabooing of Science and Research, funded by the Volkswagen Foundation.

In addition to networking activities, the focus was on developing a joint research agenda on sexual harassment and violence at universities.
